Cedar Falls Downtown streetscape reconstruction transformed eleven downtown city blocks, enhancing over two acres of streetscapes and sidewalks. The objective was to revitalize the existing infrastructure, improve the walkability of the Parkade, and foster a unified environment for the expanding community. By strategically incorporating clay pavers and carefully choosing their colors, sizes, and orientations, the City of Cedar Falls’ vision was vividly brought to life.

Snyder & Associates used Belden City Line Series and ADA Pavers in the award-winning streetscape and reconstruction project. They worked closely with Community Main Street and the City to develop a plan to reconstruct the new streetscape and the Cedar Falls Downtown District. The coordination also included selecting materials and amenities that would reflect the district's historical character, limit long-term maintenance, and support a design that would unite new development into the district. Improvements included the revitalization of downtown areas and enhancements to Peter Melendy Park.
